1000 Gallons Pure Essence Smart Under-Sink Alkaline RO System with App Control

This reverse osmosis system has totally changed our water drinking habits. We live in rural Kansas in an area of very hard water. For the first 3 years after moving here we had to buy all our drinking water in gallon jugs from the grocery store. Our tap water has visible floating debris in it, and if you boil a pot down to empty, you can see a layer of white deposits left behind.Then we were so blessed to receive this RO system. It came right when we were having a kitchen remodel done, so we had it professionally installed, and the countertop installers drilled the hole for the faucet. So I can't speak to the ease of installation. When I first tasted the water I was skeptical, then I read in the manual you have to run the water through the faucet for 30 minutes before first use. After that, I was stunned by the water taste. It tastes like completely pure water, just as good or better than water bought from the grocery store. I tested the effect on our appliances by boiling a pot down, and it left no residue. Ice made out of this water leaves no floaties. I am very pleased by the rate of flow. I can fill my water bottle in 10 seconds or less. I can fill a pot quickly enough. And one convenient part is the handle can be turned and left on; it doesn't have to be continually pushed. So I can l can leave for a few moments while filling something. The young kids can operate it easily, and they are drinking much more water now, and I no longer have to be frustrated with them for "wasting" the filtered water.I like how the stainless steel appearance of the faucet matches my sink and regular faucet. In summary, I am so thankful for this RO system!

The Electrolux Compact Reverse Osmosis System is working well for us! The installation was challenging because our home is 32 years old, and the under-the-sink space is small (by today's standards), and the pipes are large. We also had to contend with our garbage disposal unit and locate a place for the power source. Fortunately, my husband is an electrical engineer who has a background in construction. He explained the entire process to me. I tried to avoid over-blinking, nodded a lot, and refrained from telling him I was not writing a technical manual.My comment in simple terms: Check the space beneath your sink to ensure you have adequate access and a power source.NOTES FROM THE HUBSTER:Unrestricted space needed: 17 inch H x 22 inch L x 6 inch WFiltration Unit size : 13 ¼ inch H x 16 inch L x 5 ¼ inch WPower requirements: 120 volts ACThe Sink Drainage Pipe needs to be 1 ½-inch-diameter PVC. Our pipes were larger, so I had to run an outside drainage pipe. See attached photo.The unit is quiet, and we have not experienced leakage. The Bluetooth functions are nice, and the overall design is clean and compact! The faucet is a perfect match for our regular faucet.We use the RV water for cooking, making coffee, and tea. In addition to the health benefits, the RO system will save us hundreds of dollars each year because we no longer need to purchase large bottles of water for our coffee and tea station, and for cooking.We chilled a pitcher of water from the RO system, and it tastes better than tap water and is closer to our spring water.Once the system was installed and we were satisfied with how it was functioning, The Hubster pulled everything out and started redesigning the space. I will update the photos when the project is completed.I noticed the unit's price has been lowered, which makes it a better value and more affordable. Although this was a promotional unit for us, we will recognize savings from our reduced spending on the bottled water we used to cook our meals. Replacement filters are readily available on Amazon and are easy to change. I recommend keeping one or two extra filters on hand.

This is a well made RO system built by a well known company. It came with good installation instructions and was fairly easy overall to install. The plumbing portion of the installation was quick and straightforward. To enable WIFI operation the unit needs to be connected to a 110 volt power source which in most cases requires some wiring under the sink. It is tankless, has a highly efficient 10 stage filtration system that removes most all impurities from city water. It can be controlled through my smartphone and provides real time monitoring. The filters are long lasting and easily changed. It's the perfect size to fit under the kitchen sink and doesn't take much room. The faucet has a very convenient LED indicator showing if the filter needs changing or if the system is in the backwash mode. Operating instructions were good and it was easy to get into operation. The unit automatically remineralizes the water and the flow is great. The taste is outstanding.Damon M. Tatem

I did a lot of research on RO systems before choosing this one. Electrolux is a trusted Swedish brand with verified certifications for its filters — many RO brands make unsubstantiated claims. This model has 10 filters that removes most lead, nitrates, plastics, and forever chemicals from our water, and even replaces some of the essential minerals (remineralization) it removes. This Electrolux model wastes less water than most. And its replacement filters are both available (that’s a thing) and relatively affordable. It makes a low but audible “hum” when working. Even though it is stylish and compact, I installed ours in the basement under the sink and also ran a line to our refrigerator. To avoid drilling a new hole in our quartz countertop (to install a separate dispenser), I purchased a Moen 3-in-1 kitchen faucet (expensive), with which it works beautifully. Note that most tankless RO models require a live nearby outlet for installation. No regrets. We love it.

I decided to invest in a Reverse Osmosis (RO) system after carefully considering the amount of forever waste produced from using plastic water bottles and concern over the removal of all the wastes products in our water. Initially I was going to get a counter top RO it after considering the cost of filters, space they take up the counter I decided to look into under sink systems and more specifically tankless ones. After reading online reviews, watching YouTube videos and reviewing specifications for various systems I settled on the Electrolux 600GPD PureEssence. The output would be more than enough for my needs and I liked the fact it had a stage that added back minerals (Ca, K, Mg) and a 3:1 pure to waste water ratio. The unit seems well made and the installation went fine. I bought a step drill bit and knock out punch tool to create a hole for the faucet in my stainless steel sink. I decided to locate the waste drain saddle above the U-trap to minimize possible gurgling noises. As a precaution I also inserted a one way valve on the waste drain line just before it enters the U-trap to prevent possible back flow (water and sewer gas) into the RO system. The setup directions were all clear and once I added the app I like the ability to monitor the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and consumption amongst other variables. When the unit runs such as opening the RO tap or flushing, you do hear the sound of the pump and waste water draining but it’s nothing I find disturbing. Of course the most important thing is the taste, clarity and smell of the water, which are all excellent straight of the RO tap. So far I really like the unit and time will only tell more.

The unit is compact and fits easily under the sink without taking up too much space. The quick-change filters are simple to swap out, and the stainless LED faucet looks modern and premium. Installation was straightforward.

I LOVE this system for a few major reasons. The first and foremost -- It doesn't "dry" up! There is no "ZERO" loss in water pressure over time, and the water pressure is HIGHER than a typical RO system. Here is what else I think:Installation is WAYY simpler than a typical RO system. There is only one feed line and another output line. Directions are not required. If you have ever put together a traditional RO system some cutting is typically involved. That is NOT the case here.The fixture is high quality, or at least does not have any apparent defects. Note: You will need a hole saw blade for installation.Pressure is HIGHER than a typical RO system & it's very easy to use.It's easy to use (via app filter updates) and shockingly easy to install. Water quality and remineralization is comparable to my current (major RO brand label), and the taste is quite good.COST is obviously a major concern here. This system is nearly TWICE as expensive as a typical RO system. Yet, the advantage of being able to capture water on demand with no waiting is I think a huge benefit. Personally, I can deal with the hassle, but having had this system, I acknowledge major advantages.100% RECOMMENDED. This is a high-priced item, but it does exactly what it is advertised to do. It is compact, easy to install, and does not require you to wait for a tank to fill after excessive use.

This all in one system really is just that. Not only does it produce great quality RO water conveniently but it adds back minerals thru a re-mineralizing cartridge. It also monitors its own filters using a built-in TDS meter then communicates this via WiFi to your smartphone. The app is decent and works for its intended purpose. If you don't want another app on your phone you can simply just go by the color ring indicator on the dispensing faucet. This unit is fast and produces water quickly. You will need a GFCI protected receptacle where you plan to install it which typically is under the kitchen sink. Once installed it is ready to go. Nice design and thoughtful consideration of what a good system should incorporate. The 10 stage all in one is a winner. Electrolux got this one right. 5 stars.

For decades, I've been buying gallons and gallons of bottled water. I didn't trust the levels of fluoride or other contaminants in tap water because they pose potential health risks. But then there was the issue of microplastics, and a whole other list of health risks. Ugh. I always wanted to invest in a reverse osmosis system, but the tanks were huge, and I didn't have the space. The Electrolux Alkaline Mineral pH+ Tankless Reverse Osmosis System is the next generation of water filters. The design is beautiful and modern, and at only 5.2" wide, the sleek unit fits under my sink. Every part of it looks and feels high quality. I decided to hire a professional to install it, as I didn't want to risk causing a flood. The process was relatively quick and easy. I am impressed by the water flow, which is faster than I expected. The built-in remineralization makes the water taste great. There's even a phone app to monitor the filter, which is a bit of overkill for me, as I'm old-school. But still nice to have. Gone are the days of lugging gallons of water in toxic plastic bottles around. It will eventually pay for itself through the money saved on buying water, which I always thought was ridiculous, but did it anyway. The filter lasts 3 years, so it's very low-maintenance. Yes, it is a rather pricey investment, but for my family's long-term health and well-being, it's totally worth it. There is nothing better to invest in.

Makes noise but you know when it is doing it’s job and has 1 and 3 year easy filter changes.

Be aware, this system is not actually a 3:1 pure water-to-drain ratio as advertised. After doing my own testing, I found it’s closer to a 1:1 ratio — for every glass of purified water, about the same amount goes down the drain.The main reason I chose this brand was because of the manufacturer’s 3:1 water-saving claim, so I was disappointed when my real-world results were very different.If saving water is important to you, I would not recommend this unit. I’ll be returning mine.

Excellent product with single hookup. Only downfall is it's loud like a camper water pump and random with its self discharges. Doesn't bother us. The last item is the spigots don't stay primed so when you first turn it on you get air and then water comes out
