This review is for the Electrolux Reverse Osmosis System & Instant Hot Water Dispenser, WiFi 800GPD Hot and Cold Tankless Water Filter, Under Sink RO Water Filtration System, 2:1 Pure to Drain, App Control.We installed this at our dry coffee bar. Installation took a bit, but we had to run a water line, a drain line and install a bar sink.I have a whole house filter and additional filters at drinking and cooking points. This is the first filtration system that I've owned dispenses hot water, other than the water dispenser. It is a game changer.To be able to get clean, safe hot water at a touch of a button is great. I used it often for tea. I use loose leaf teas and depending on the type they require different temperatures for the best experience. This filter allows for the choice of temperatures instantly.The faucet has no handle, instead the top has a touch display with options.I am happy with this purchase.The description states that the filter will last approximately 24 months. I will update this review when I need to order another filter.

I've never had anything like this reverse osmosis water dispenser. I knew it would be a big commitment because I was never going to attempt to mess with installing anything directly into my water line. I'm a pretty good DIYer, but plumbing is where I draw the line, haha. Once the plumber installed it, wow... what an amazing product. To be able to get hot, clean water instantly is amazing. It's nice to have all the different temps for when I want tea vs almost boiling water. It's nice to have another filter for cold water. Because I'm semi-obsessed with it being as filtered as possible, I have a whole house filter, now this ROS, pluuus I pour it in a Brita haha. Maybe that's overkill, but it tasted pretty good before, and now it tastes even better. I like the touch system for the faucet; It feels very fancy. The water flow isn't particularly strong, it it doesn't matter because I'm not washing dishes with it. As far as the price and value.. If I didn't get this on Vine, I'm not sure if I would have wanted to pay $900 since I spent decent money on a plumber. It does seem very high quality, which doesn't surprise me given the Electrolux brand. Actually can't remember the last time I even saw an appliance on Amazon that was a brand I recognize instead of a random company, much less a brand I recognize that's also a quality company. The filters are supposed to last up to 24 months; we'll see If that's the case. I searched for the replacement filters on here but couldn't find them. I wonder how much they are. I saw the lower model's were about $50, which is very reasonable if they last that long. Overall very, very happy with this water system.

This is a well made RO system built by a well known company. It came with good installation instructions and was fairly easy overall to install. The plumbing portion of the installation was quick and straightforward. To enable WIFI operation the unit needs to be connected to a 110 volt power source which in most cases requires some wiring under the sink. It is tankless, has a highly efficient 10 stage filtration system that removes most all impurities from city water. It can be controlled through my smartphone and provides real time monitoring. The filters are long lasting and easily changed. It's the perfect size to fit under the kitchen sink and doesn't take much room. The faucet has a very convenient LED indicator showing if the filter needs changing or if the system is in the backwash mode. Operating instructions were good and it was easy to get into operation. The unit automatically remineralizes the water and the flow is great. The taste is outstanding.Damon M. Tatem

The Electrolux Compact Reverse Osmosis System is working well for us! The installation was challenging because our home is 32 years old, and the under-the-sink space is small (by today's standards), and the pipes are large. We also had to contend with our garbage disposal unit and locate a place for the power source. Fortunately, my husband is an electrical engineer who has a background in construction. He explained the entire process to me. I tried to avoid over-blinking, nodded a lot, and refrained from telling him I was not writing a technical manual.My comment in simple terms: Check the space beneath your sink to ensure you have adequate access and a power source.NOTES FROM THE HUBSTER:Unrestricted space needed: 17 inch H x 22 inch L x 6 inch WFiltration Unit size : 13 ¼ inch H x 16 inch L x 5 ¼ inch WPower requirements: 120 volts ACThe Sink Drainage Pipe needs to be 1 ½-inch-diameter PVC. Our pipes were larger, so I had to run an outside drainage pipe. See attached photo.The unit is quiet, and we have not experienced leakage. The Bluetooth functions are nice, and the overall design is clean and compact! The faucet is a perfect match for our regular faucet.We use the RV water for cooking, making coffee, and tea. In addition to the health benefits, the RO system will save us hundreds of dollars each year because we no longer need to purchase large bottles of water for our coffee and tea station, and for cooking.We chilled a pitcher of water from the RO system, and it tastes better than tap water and is closer to our spring water.Once the system was installed and we were satisfied with how it was functioning, The Hubster pulled everything out and started redesigning the space. I will update the photos when the project is completed.I noticed the unit's price has been lowered, which makes it a better value and more affordable. Although this was a promotional unit for us, we will recognize savings from our reduced spending on the bottled water we used to cook our meals. Replacement filters are readily available on Amazon and are easy to change. I recommend keeping one or two extra filters on hand.

This reverse osmosis system has totally changed our water drinking habits. We live in rural Kansas in an area of very hard water. For the first 3 years after moving here we had to buy all our drinking water in gallon jugs from the grocery store. Our tap water has visible floating debris in it, and if you boil a pot down to empty, you can see a layer of white deposits left behind.Then we were so blessed to receive this RO system. It came right when we were having a kitchen remodel done, so we had it professionally installed, and the countertop installers drilled the hole for the faucet. So I can't speak to the ease of installation. When I first tasted the water I was skeptical, then I read in the manual you have to run the water through the faucet for 30 minutes before first use. After that, I was stunned by the water taste. It tastes like completely pure water, just as good or better than water bought from the grocery store. I tested the effect on our appliances by boiling a pot down, and it left no residue. Ice made out of this water leaves no floaties. I am very pleased by the rate of flow. I can fill my water bottle in 10 seconds or less. I can fill a pot quickly enough. And one convenient part is the handle can be turned and left on; it doesn't have to be continually pushed. So I can l can leave for a few moments while filling something. The young kids can operate it easily, and they are drinking much more water now, and I no longer have to be frustrated with them for "wasting" the filtered water.I like how the stainless steel appearance of the faucet matches my sink and regular faucet. In summary, I am so thankful for this RO system!

I did a lot of research on RO systems before choosing this one. Electrolux is a trusted Swedish brand with verified certifications for its filters — many RO brands make unsubstantiated claims. This model has 10 filters that removes most lead, nitrates, plastics, and forever chemicals from our water, and even replaces some of the essential minerals (remineralization) it removes. This Electrolux model wastes less water than most. And its replacement filters are both available (that’s a thing) and relatively affordable. It makes a low but audible “hum” when working. Even though it is stylish and compact, I installed ours in the basement under the sink and also ran a line to our refrigerator. To avoid drilling a new hole in our quartz countertop (to install a separate dispenser), I purchased a Moen 3-in-1 kitchen faucet (expensive), with which it works beautifully. Note that most tankless RO models require a live nearby outlet for installation. No regrets. We love it.

I decided to invest in a Reverse Osmosis (RO) system after carefully considering the amount of forever waste produced from using plastic water bottles and concern over the removal of all the wastes products in our water. Initially I was going to get a counter top RO it after considering the cost of filters, space they take up the counter I decided to look into under sink systems and more specifically tankless ones. After reading online reviews, watching YouTube videos and reviewing specifications for various systems I settled on the Electrolux 600GPD PureEssence. The output would be more than enough for my needs and I liked the fact it had a stage that added back minerals (Ca, K, Mg) and a 3:1 pure to waste water ratio. The unit seems well made and the installation went fine. I bought a step drill bit and knock out punch tool to create a hole for the faucet in my stainless steel sink. I decided to locate the waste drain saddle above the U-trap to minimize possible gurgling noises. As a precaution I also inserted a one way valve on the waste drain line just before it enters the U-trap to prevent possible back flow (water and sewer gas) into the RO system. The setup directions were all clear and once I added the app I like the ability to monitor the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and consumption amongst other variables. When the unit runs such as opening the RO tap or flushing, you do hear the sound of the pump and waste water draining but it’s nothing I find disturbing. Of course the most important thing is the taste, clarity and smell of the water, which are all excellent straight of the RO tap. So far I really like the unit and time will only tell more.

The taste is crisp and does not have that weird aftertaste that tap water sometimes has. I have been using it daily for drinking and cooking.It does take a bit of time to install if you have never done something like this before, but once it is in place it runs smoothly. Water flow is decent and not painfully slow like some systems I have tried in the past.I like knowing what my kids are drinking is filtered better. It feels like one of those upgrades you actually notice every single day

Instructions are good enough, but you need to be handy, or hire plumber. the unit is unique, most RO waste 4 gal for every usable gallon, here they cut the waste water dramatically. I tested the water, it does a good job, but not as good as more wasteful RO systems, but that is a tradeoff, i prefer to save the water and still have 99% improvement, nice trade off. The hot water, well, its near instant, for some, that is a huge benefit for quick cup of tea with clean water !!! Size is, well, it does a lot, but more compact than expected all things considered, check measurements. Consider this.... if you just want instant hot water, you will spend close this amount if you use a plumber to install, so for a bit more you get RO and Hot water, granted, you get less capacity of hot water. Remember also, using hot water from tap, uses hot water from your hw tank, that is not for drinking, as it has contaminants in it. This is a well made luxury item built to last and serves two purposes. Be sure to check sizing, as many low hanging sinks might restrict installation. The water capacity of 800 gal a day, might be a typo, that seems extreme, regardless, its for a lite use. Overall, its a well made product for specialized use, once you have one, you wonder how you lived without it ! recommended, high quality, good value considering build quality, considering its uniqueness, giving 5 stars.... keep up the innovative products electrolux !

As I had already a different system, installation was really easy, just plug in and connect to water supply and drainage and replace the faucet. I like not having a tank under the sink and large water output compared to the previous system. Having selectable hot water temperature is also great.

I’ve been using this water dispenser for more than a month now. Installation was very simple. Two tubes connect to the faucet, one goes to the drain, and one connects to the home water supply. For power, it only requires a standard 120V outlet.The unit is compact and fits under the sink without any issues. Replacing the filter is easy since the filters are located on the front of the unit for quick access. There’s also an LED indicator that shows the filter status, which is convenient.The instant hot water feature is very useful. It heats water quickly for tea, coffee, or other tasks that require hot water, and it’s much faster than waiting for hot water from my home’s water heater.Water flow is good and fast enough for everyday use. It can fill an 18-ounce cup in about 20 seconds.
